How Our Network Works
Request an estimate
Who Contacts You
After you send a request, an independent provider from our network may reach out. That person works for their own company, not for Infectionstaying Walk-In Tubs.
The provider is the one who gives the estimate and does the job. Infectionstaying Walk-In Tubs only makes the introduction.
What the Provider May Ask
Expect a few simple questions. They help the provider quote fairly.
- What do you want: a walk-in tub or a shower?
- What size is the bathroom?
- Is the floor a slab or raised?
- Does anyone need a seat, grab bars or a wider door?
- When would you like to start?
Photos and rough measurements can help. You don't need exact numbers. If you are not sure about something, just say so. The provider can check it during a visit.
Questions Worth Asking
Answer first, reason second. Here is what to ask, and why.
- Is the quote in writing? Costs vary by job. A written quote keeps everyone honest.
- What is included? Ask about demolition, plumbing, electrical, walls and cleanup.
- Are you licensed and insured? Ask to see proof.
- Who does the work? Find out if it is the provider or a subcontractor.
- What about permits? Ask who handles them.
- What does the warranty cover? Get it on paper.
- How long will it take? Ask what could cause delays.
You Stay in Charge
You do not have to say yes. You do not have to decide on the first visit. You can get two or three estimates and compare them side by side.
Look past the total price. Compare the plan, the products and the details. A job that protects the house is worth more than a quick fix.
